Even you don't use black lineart in your new work, still while you've worked with lines you were pretty darn good.
Still I like new style of course better, but you could just for artist experimenting to try it in new way again and see how it goes

Besides loving Gravity Falls myself, makes me sad that I don't see in your newer works anymore, since they are so likeable Mable especially , but every artist should draw what they want
